About the Role:

Lead resuscitation efforts within the Midlands region, providing expert advice and training to clients. Develop and deliver critical care and resuscitation training programs, and manage a team of resuscitation officers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary client contact for AtoE contracts.
  • Provide expert advice on resuscitation attempts, policy, training, and clinical governance.
  • Design and deliver training programs in critical care, resuscitation, and first aid.
  • Act as clinical member of resuscitation teams at contracted sites.
  • Maintain and develop local and national partnerships.
  • Support A to E’s in-situ simulation program.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of resuscitation officers.
  • Lead projects and research activities.
  • Undertake resuscitation officer and lead roles for client sites.
  • Provide clients with high-quality resuscitation training.
  • Escalate and raise the profile of resuscitation issues.
  • Lead the delivery of governance support.
  • Lead and manage resuscitation practice projects and course development.
  • Support business growth and development activities.
  • Lead a national course and ensure compliance with administrative functions.
  • Ensure financial and operational KPIs are met, and equipment is used correctly.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Expert knowledge of resuscitation techniques and equipment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in clinical governance and policy development.
  • Proficiency in project management and research.
  • Understanding of financial and operational KPIs.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in resuscitation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
