About the Role:
This Recruitment Apprentice role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the ropes of recruitment within a thriving Hertfordshire-based company. You will provide general administrative support to the Recruitment Business Partners and Onboarding team, developing key skills to support the entire candidate journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review candidate applications and CVs to assist in shortlisting.
- Support the onboarding team with new starter paperwork.
- Conduct screening calls with candidates.
- Search for candidates using online job boards and LinkedIn.
- Utilize the SmartRecruiters ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
- Schedule interviews and book meeting rooms, ensuring all activity is tracked in SmartRecruiters.
- Communicate with internal hiring managers via email and phone.
- Attend weekly recruitment team meetings in person and via Teams.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
