About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Records Assistant to join our admin and clerical team. This vital role supports the smooth operation of a busy department by ensuring accurate and accessible patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
- File correspondence and investigation results in patient case notes.
- Track case notes in and out using the PAS system, maintaining accuracy.
- Transport case notes and other documentation according to procedures.
- Store and file case notes securely.
- Ensure adherence to the Trust’s confidentiality policy.
- Perform other general administrative tasks as delegated by the Patient Pathway Coordinator (e.g., photocopying, enveloping).
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in using the PAS system.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good communication skills.
