About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Years 2/3 at a primary school in Enfield. This role involves providing vital classroom support and contributing to a positive learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support students with varying abilities and learning needs, including those with special educational needs.
- Act as a positive role model for students, promoting appropriate behaviour and social skills.
Skills and Expertise:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is essential.
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities are crucial.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with staff and students.
- Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of the school environment.
- Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) is desirable but not essential.
- SEND experience is desirable.
