About the Role:
Menzies Distribution is seeking a self-employed courier to join our Swansea team. This role entails 7-day operations, encompassing early morning packing and deliveries to 20-40 customers per day. Preparation of routes, vehicle loading, and delivery are key responsibilities. The successful applicant must be available from 02:30 am, and returns to the depot with any unsold product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily delivery routes.
- Load vehicle with products.
- Deliver products to designated customers.
- Return to depot with any unsold merchandise.
Skills and Expertise:
- Full UK/EU/EEA driving license
- Ownership/access to a 3.5-tonne van (Transit or similar)
- Goods In Transit Insurance
- Public Liability Insurance
- Hire and Reward Insurance
- Physically fit for multi-drop driving
- Hardworking, positive, and flexible attitude
- Right to work in the UK with no criminal convictions
