About the Role:
This apprentice role provides hands-on experience in the IT sector, focusing on building, commissioning, and upgrading communication and CAD solutions for customers in Derbyshire. You’ll gain practical skills in fault finding, documentation, and liaising with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, commission, and upgrade NEC Software Solutions communication and CAD products in customer environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software faults within the product suite.
- Create, review, and update engineering documentation (workplans, work instructions, technical guides).
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate activities and share information.
- Provide technical and non-technical customer support.
- Work independently and collaboratively on projects as needed.
- Adhere to company processes and procedures.
- Meet project deadlines and report any challenges.
- Maintain a professional attitude and work environment.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations.
