About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mental Health Nurse in the Mental Health Hospital Liaison Team at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to service development and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and collaboratively work with system partners.
  • Support STR workers, Associate Practitioners, Community nurses, Advanced nurse practitioners, and the Clinical Lead.
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and establish/manage care plans for patients.
  • Support the team in implementing effective changes to meet Trust objectives.
  • Actively participate in the training and education of learners.
  • Encourage integration between ward teams and community services.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Clinical Lead.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (Band 6).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work proactively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Keen interest in liaising and collaborative work with system partners.
  • IT literacy.
  • Commitment, flexibility, proactivity, and enthusiasm.
  • Forward-thinking approach.
  • Understanding of service development and accreditation.
