About the Role:
Our client in Glasgow’s East End seeks a driven Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Posting and allocating sales/purchase invoices and cash/sales receipts
- Managing credit control
- Reconciling accounts
- Handling and resolving queries
- Preparing payment runs
- Completing monthly bank reconciliations
- Performing general finance and administration tasks
- Answering telephone inquiries
- Assisting with payroll
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in sales/purchase ledger management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with SAGE Accounts software
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong team player
- Previous payroll assistance experience (desirable)
