About the Role:
Absolute Interpreting & Translations is seeking professional Portuguese interpreters in Wolverhampton to facilitate communication between patients, clients, and service providers in hospitals, councils, schools, and more. This role offers a variety of face-to-face and remote interpreting opportunities for Portuguese speakers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, high-quality, impartial, and confidential interpreting services.
- Engage effectively with clients and community members.
- Bridge language barriers between individuals and service providers.
- Interpret for a diverse range of clients in various settings, including hospitals, schools, and social services.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
Skills and Expertise:
- Fluency in Portuguese.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with interpreting (essential).
- Demonstrated understanding of interpreting ethics.
- Confident in delivering high-quality services.
- Enhanced DBS check.
