About the Role:
Join a dynamic team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as a Clinical Neurophysiology Scientist. This role plays a vital part in achieving UKAS accreditation and contributes to quality improvement in clinical neurophysiology services across multiple sites, actively participating in training programs. You will be involved in comprehensive investigations, including EEG, NCS, and EPs for adults and children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a full range of neurophysiological investigations (EEG, NCS, EPs) for adults and children.
- Perform ambulatory and video telemetry investigations.
- Take appropriate action during investigations if serious abnormalities are identified.
- Interpret results and prepare high-quality reports.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Train junior and other staff groups.
- Participate in quality assurance, audit, research, and development.
Skills and Expertise:
- BSc in Clinical Neurophysiology with RCCP/AHCS registration, or HCPC-registered Clinical Scientist.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Competence and confidence in performing a range of neurophysiological investigations in dedicated and non-dedicated environments, on adult and pediatric patients.
