About the Role:
Logistics People are seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV driver for an ad-hoc position at our Appleton depot in Warrington. The role involves completing deliveries and collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete deliveries and collections.
- Adhere to Drivers hours and WTD legislation.
- Perform necessary vehicle safety checks and report defects.
- Comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
Skills and Expertise:
- HGV 1/C+E Licence (minimum 6 months).
- No more than 6 points or DD/DR Code convictions.
- Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of vehicle checks and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of drivers hours and WTD legislation.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Weekday: 16.26 P/hr
- Weeknight: 17.38 P/hr
- Weekend AM: 20.18 P/hr
- Weekend PM: 20.74 P/hr
