About the Role:
Logistics People is seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV driver for an ad-hoc position at our Bolton depot. The role involves completing deliveries and collections on a flexible basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete deliveries and collections.
- Adhere to driver hours and WTD legislation.
- Perform all necessary vehicle checks and report defects.
- Comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
Skills and Expertise:
- HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s experience.
- Valid CPC and Tacho cards.
- No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Understanding of vehicle safety regulations and procedures.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Monday to Friday: 16.25 per hour
- Saturday: 17.93 per hour
- Sunday: 19.05 per hour
