About the Role:
Logistics People is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for an ad-hoc position at our Burton Latimer depot. The role involves completing deliveries and collections, adhering to strict driver hours regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing deliveries and collections.
- Adhering to all driver hours regulations.
- Carrying out vehicle checks to ensure safety and reporting defects.
- Complying with on-site health and safety requirements.
Skills and Expertise:
- HGV 1/C+E Licence (minimum 12 months).
- Valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
- Understanding of Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- No more than 6 points or DD/DR Code convictions.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Weekday: 17.50 P/hr
- Weeknight: 18.50 P/hr
- Saturday: 21.00 P/hr
- Sunday: 23.00 P/hr
