About the Role:

Wheatfield Primary School seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support classroom activities and contribute to the learning environment. You will deliver pre-planned lessons and mark student work. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to children.
  • Support the learning and development of pupils.
  • Mark children’s work as instructed by class teachers.
  • Implement the school’s policies, plans, targets, and practices.
  • Use a variety of strategies to engage and support children.
  • Implement the School Development Plan priorities using teamwork.
  • Act as a positive role model for pupils, colleagues, and parents.

Skills and Expertise:

  • High expectations and commitment to raising student achievement.
  • Proven ability to engage and support children in their learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in implementing educational policies and plans.
  • Achieved or working towards an HLTA qualification.
  • Experience as an Outdoor Learning Practitioner (desirable).
