About the Role:
Wheatfield Primary School seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support classroom activities and contribute to the learning environment. You will deliver pre-planned lessons and mark student work. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to children.
- Support the learning and development of pupils.
- Mark children’s work as instructed by class teachers.
- Implement the school’s policies, plans, targets, and practices.
- Use a variety of strategies to engage and support children.
- Implement the School Development Plan priorities using teamwork.
- Act as a positive role model for pupils, colleagues, and parents.
Skills and Expertise:
- High expectations and commitment to raising student achievement.
- Proven ability to engage and support children in their learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in implementing educational policies and plans.
- Achieved or working towards an HLTA qualification.
- Experience as an Outdoor Learning Practitioner (desirable).
