About the Role:
Care UK is seeking a passionate and caring individual to lead and supervise a care team in Berkshire. This role involves creating and delivering effective care plans, overseeing care assistants, and supporting residents to maintain independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and supervising care staff during shifts.
- Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to ensure optimal care plans.
- Administering and recording medication as per protocol.
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures.
- Supporting residents with daily needs, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Collaborating with leadership to develop services.
- Maintaining a professional and inclusive approach towards all residents and colleagues.
Skills and Expertise:
- NVQ Level 3 in health and social care (desirable).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in IT systems.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise teams.
- Understanding of care planning processes.
- Experience in or willingness to undertake training in medication administration.
- Natural ability to support and care for residents.
