About the Role:

A Support Worker is needed to provide comprehensive care and support to a 9-year-old girl with health issues in the Durham area. This role involves school support, access to extracurricular activities, and maintaining the child’s independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a 9-year-old girl with a tracheostomy at school.
  • Assisting with personal care tasks as needed.
  • Facilitating social and leisure activities to enhance independence.
  • Ensuring the child’s continued independence in all areas of life.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience with children, preferably with similar needs
  • Proven reliability and trustworthiness
  • Patience and understanding of behavioural issues
  • Tracheostomy care experience (preferred, but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Facilities/Benefits:
