About the Role:
A Support Worker is needed to provide comprehensive care and support to a 9-year-old girl with health issues in the Durham area. This role involves school support, access to extracurricular activities, and maintaining the child’s independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting a 9-year-old girl with a tracheostomy at school.
- Assisting with personal care tasks as needed.
- Facilitating social and leisure activities to enhance independence.
- Ensuring the child’s continued independence in all areas of life.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience with children, preferably with similar needs
- Proven reliability and trustworthiness
- Patience and understanding of behavioural issues
- Tracheostomy care experience (preferred, but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Facilities/Benefits:
