About the Role:
As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their daily needs are met and fostering a positive and enriching environment. Your role is vital in making a difference in the lives of our residents, by assisting with daily living activities, providing support, and creating meaningful connections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
- Follow and adapt care plans to ensure individual needs are met.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
- Document and report on resident care needs and progress.
- Collaborate with other care staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience caring for older adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of care planning procedures (desirable).
