About the Role:
As a General Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll support our residents by performing a variety of tasks, including housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and catering. Your caring nature and empathy will be essential in creating a warm and homely environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, tidying, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing.
- Assist with catering tasks, including preparing meals and serving residents.
- Support residents with personal care needs and daily activities.
- Ensure a high standard of care and support for residents.
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
