About the Role:
As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll provide compassionate care and support to residents, ensuring a high quality of life. Your role is key in assisting with daily living activities, fostering companionship, and creating positive experiences for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
- Support residents with following care plans and medication schedules.
- Foster a supportive and caring environment, building positive relationships with residents.
- Document and report on resident care and progress.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
- Participate in team meetings and care planning sessions.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience in caring for older people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of care plans and procedures.
