About the Role:

As a Regional Care Assistant at Barchester care homes, provide warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support within a 20-mile radius. Your role involves monitoring care delivery, contributing to person-centred care planning, and recording observations. Supporting residents with meaningful one-to-one time is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support to residents.
  • Monitor the delivery of care.
  • Contribute to person-centred care planning.
  • Record observations (temperature, blood pressure, etc.).
  • Provide support and companionship.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Background in care and understanding of elderly care.
  • Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care (desirable).
  • Understanding of the wider healthcare industry.
  • GCSE English and Maths at C or above (desirable).
  • Dedicated and compassionate.
  • Passion for supporting resident wellbeing.
  • Access to a car or ready access to one (due to travel).
