About the Role:
The Best Connection Walsall is seeking a Class 2 LGV driver to deliver goods to customers’ homes in Lichfield. This role offers consistent shifts with holiday and sickness cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods to customers’ homes (10-20 drops per day)
- Manual unloading (handballing)
- Complete a week’s worth of paid training
- Ensure deliveries are made on time and in good condition
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
- Complete delivery paperwork as required
Skills and Expertise:
- Class 2 (C) driving licence
- CPC qualification (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Valid Tachograph card
- 6 Months class 2 experience (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong customer service skills and professional attitude
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- 15 per hour
- Minimum 8 hours pay per shift
