About the Role:
NewsTeam Group seeks a reliable and punctual part-time newspaper delivery driver for a permanent self-employed contract in West Yorkshire. This is an ideal opportunity for an early riser to supplement income while maintaining flexibility. Deliveries will occur on a pre-designated route, involving newspapers, magazines, and other household items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver newspapers, magazines, and other household items to designated households on a pre-determined route.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines during the delivery process.
Skills and Expertise:
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car or small van.
- Smartphone proficiency (Android or iPhone).
- Ability to work early mornings (2am-6.30am approximately).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proactive problem-solving approach, including notifying dispatch of any issues.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Guaranteed minimum weekly pay of 280 (including training).
- One-off 250 bonus upon start of full route deliveries.
