About the Role:
Aramark UK is seeking a dedicated General Service Assistant to join their team at Alanbrooke Barracks in North Yorkshire. This role involves front-of-house support, including serving food and beverages, handling till work, and cleaning dining areas. The role provides excellent customer service and supports day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve food and beverages to customers, maintaining excellent customer service and health and safety protocols.
- Stock, rotate, and face up food items.
- Clean dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
- Operate cash and card payment systems, processing financial records accurately.
- Serve on food counters and upsell products/sizes.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience in customer-facing roles (preferred, but not required, as full training is provided).
- Proficiency in using tills and handling cash and card payments.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Reliable transportation.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and at least 3 years of UK residency.
- Must be 18 or older.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Part-time, permanent position (30 hours per week).
- Variety of 5-day shifts, including one weekend in four.
- Shift times ranging from 6.30 am to 7.30 pm.
