About the Role:
Royal Mail is seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in Bournemouth. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries across the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver packages and mail to customers on a daily basis, adhering to Royal Mail’s standards.
- Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently, following all traffic regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered.
- Manage vehicle maintenance and report any necessary repairs.
- Interact with customers professionally and maintain positive community relationships.
- Comply with Royal Mail’s health and safety guidelines.
Skills and Expertise:
- Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Excellent knowledge of local area.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding walking and driving duties.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Professional and courteous communication skills.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
