About the Role:

As an Electrical Engineer Project Leader in the Thames Valley, you will contribute to impactful water infrastructure projects, leading the design and delivery of projects within budget and on time. This role combines project management and design engineering expertise, offering significant career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of water treatment or infrastructure projects, from initial outline to detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Coordinate the project team, including civil, electrical, mechanical, and process designers, BIM modelers, and technical specialists, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Undertake design in your electrical engineering discipline, mentoring less experienced colleagues where appropriate.
  • Build strong relationships with client project, operational, and technical assurance teams.
  • Ensure designs adhere to all relevant frameworks and industry specifications.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Working towards professional qualification
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel to sites
  • Experience in water infrastructure projects (preferred)
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in relevant design software and BIM tools
