About the Role:

Join a people and technology-driven business as a Customer Service Representative in Bristol, handling inbound calls related to life assurance, savings, investments, and pensions. Ensure a positive and seamless customer experience, supporting customers through various life stages and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound customer calls regarding life assurance, savings, investments, and pension plans.
  • Assist customers with planning for retirement, accessing investments, updating personal information, and supporting families during bereavements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, remaining calm and professional under pressure.
  • Simplify complex financial matters for customers.
  • Manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to listen actively and empathize with customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Experience in a customer service role (contact centre, retail, hospitality, or travel preferred, but not essential).
  • Ability to use multiple IT applications efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
