About the Role:

Assist the estates department in planning, organizing, and monitoring capital project works, focusing on project support and management of refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff and departments.
  • Ensure stakeholder engagement and reporting on performance management issues.
  • Act as the focal point for project communications, assisting senior Project Managers.
  • Promote projects across the business, compiling and presenting information.
  • Monitor activities against the Gantt chart and influence task delivery.
  • Facilitate project meetings and represent senior Project Managers.
  • Gather and analyse information, present solutions, and ensure relevant documentation for minor projects.
  • Assist in policy and procedure development and review.
  • Produce, distribute, and maintain project meeting notes, and follow up on actions.
  • Provide full support to Senior Capital Project Managers and the wider Capital Development Team.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Formal Project Management Qualification
  • Experience supporting large, complex organisations (ideally in the built environment)
  • Experience using Microsoft Project
  • Experience with AutoCAD (Desirable)
  • Experience managing suppliers, contractors, and consultants in the construction industry (Desirable)
