About the Role:
Join our innovative IT team as a 1st Line Support Engineer in Swindon and be the first point of contact for technical support, ensuring swift and efficient resolution of IT issues. You’ll play a key role in maintaining excellent customer service and a positive user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve technical support requests (phone, email, chat).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Escalate complex problems to 2nd and 3rd line support teams.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and basic network configuration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and positive problem-solving attitude.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
