About the Role:
We are recruiting Class 2 drivers to join our transport team at our Booker Retail Partner site. You’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering stock to independent retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe, legal, and efficient delivery of goods to stores, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Manage collections and backhauls to the depot promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to Health and Safety, Company, and customer requirements.
- Perform other duties as required, including shunting.
Skills and Expertise:
- Class 2 Licence Holder
- Driver CPC Holder
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries (preferred, but not essential)
- Experience with temperature-controlled food deliveries (preferred, but not essential)
- Flexible availability to work 48 hours per week (overtime available)
- Adaptable to varying daily routes and schedules
