About the Role:
Scotmid Co-operative seeks a Branch Supervisor to manage a store, ensuring high customer satisfaction and efficient operations in West Lothian. This key role provides valuable experience for aspiring retail managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate customer service team, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Maintain store standards, safety, and legality.
- Open and close the store, handling key responsibilities.
- Lead by example in food preparation, service, safety, and stock management.
- Deputise for Store Manager and Senior Team Leader.
- Resolve daily operational challenges with a positive attitude.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
- Experience in retail, particularly grocery or food-to-go (advantageous).
- Ability to work under pressure and think creatively to resolve issues.
- Knowledge of food safety and stock management procedures.
- Experience in motivating a team.
