About the Role:

Drive sales, product availability, and team development at a Scotmid Co-operative store. Lead, motivate, and develop team members to exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate retail teams.
  • Drive sales and improve product availability.
  • Develop and implement strategies for team member training and development.
  • Maintain high retail standards and customer service excellence.
  • Monitor and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Apply performance management and succession planning.
  • Potential responsibility for instore bakery, hot food, food-to-go, or Post Office services.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Proven experience in retail management, ideally in food retail.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Deep understanding and proven achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Passion for retail excellence, standards, and customer service.
  • Ambition to drive team and store performance.
  • Experience in performance management and succession planning.
