About the Role:
Manage and oversee the daily operational running of the Parking Services, ensuring efficient staff caseload management and meeting statutory obligations. This role requires strong people management, contract management, and a focus on value for money and social value delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operational running of Parking Services.
- Oversee staff caseload management for optimal service delivery.
- Manage contracts to ensure value for money and social value.
- Ensure the service meets its statutory obligations.
- Collaborate with other council services and external partners.
- Monitor and improve service performance and financial efficiencies.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven people management experience.
- Strong organisational and case management skills.
- Experience managing and embracing change.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for leadership and resource direction.
- Proficiency in IT, including MS Office and case management systems.
