About the Role:
Are you a passionate Head Chef seeking a challenging and rewarding role in a vibrant restaurant environment? We are looking for a skilled and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and elevate our culinary offerings in Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of chefs to deliver high-quality, flavourful dishes.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Develop and maintain an efficient kitchen operation.
- Manage kitchen inventory and cost control.
- Prepare and execute menu items, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to optimise kitchen performance and profitability.
Skills and Expertise:
- Extensive experience as a Head Chef, ideally with a focus on modern French cuisine.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of chefs.
- Deep knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of kitchen costing and inventory management.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented.
