About the Role:
Lead and motivate a supermarket team to deliver exceptional guest service and operational efficiency during assigned shifts. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, maintain high-quality standards, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support team members by assigning tasks and motivating them to provide excellent service.
- Provide prompt and professional guest service, addressing complaints and special requests.
- Manage stock levels, checking deliveries and ensuring shelves are well-stocked and displays are tidy.
- Handle guest queries or issues efficiently, creating a welcoming experience.
- Assist in training new team members on company policies and procedures.
- Participate in team duties and step up as the shift leader as assigned.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail or supermarket environment (preferred, but not essential).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, especially when handling food orders.
- Commitment to providing high-quality customer-focused service.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
