About the Role:
Join Haven’s dynamic kitchen team as a skilled Chef in beautiful Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, ensuring a consistently high standard of presentation and taste for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu.
- Ensure all food is cooked and presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Chef, including Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, or Commis Chef roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Effective communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for food and cooking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
