About the Role:
Dove Adolescent Services seeks passionate and dedicated Residential Childcare Support Workers to provide flexible, individual care packages for children and young people. This casual role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives and offers flexibility to work the hours you can commit to.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of young people.
- Establish and maintain positive and trusting relationships with young people.
- Encourage the development of individual interests in young people.
- Undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible rota.
- Participate in activities and ensure a supportive home environment.
- Work on your own initiative and be a positive team player.
- Engage, motivate, and encourage the young people in our homes.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience supporting vulnerable young people (desired, but not essential).
- Understanding and commitment to the role, including some weekends and bank holidays.
- Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
- Desire to learn and develop professional skills.
