About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced ISVA Triage Worker to provide initial support to individuals who have experienced sexual violence. This role involves assessing needs, offering crucial resources and advocating for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for those exposed to sexual violence.
- Receive and triage initial referrals, determining appropriate support level (one-off or ongoing).
- Support clients by providing advocacy and ensuring awareness of their rights.
- Offer emotional and practical assistance to those in need.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience working with vulnerable women, specifically those experiencing sexual abuse.
- Previous experience in risk assessment and call triage.
- Empathetic and sensitive nature.
- Enhanced Adult and Child DBS check.
- ISVA Safelives Qualification.
