About the Role:
G4S is seeking a dedicated part-time Security Receptionist for a busy pharmaceutical and biotechnology company in Irvine. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining a safe and secure environment, delivering excellent customer service and building a positive experience for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting staff and visitors professionally, ensuring adherence to site security protocols.
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
- Issuing site access control passes to authorized visitors.
- Enforcing security and safety protocols.
- Maintaining accurate visitor logs and updating relevant documents.
- Performing administrative duties including ordering supplies.
- Coordinating transport arrangements for training days.
- Handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately.
- Reporting faults, safety hazards, and unsafe working practices.
- Controlling access and managing the control system.
- Liaising with various stakeholders including contractors, staff, and regulators.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with digital devices and systems (paperless admin).
- Confident communicator and team player.
- Experience with security protocols and procedures is advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle, and SIA license preferred.
