About the Role:
Our client, a leading IT reseller, is seeking a motivated and target-driven New Business Development Executive to identify and secure new business opportunities. This role will play a key part in driving revenue growth by generating leads and supporting account managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and contact potential clients to generate leads.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain and update the CRM system for new business activity.
- Promote marketing initiatives and events.
- Meet and exceed individual and team targets.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns with vendor partners around IT security.
- Collaborate with in-house and outsourced marketing teams to plan and execute campaigns.
- Follow up on marketing activity via email, phone, and social media to schedule appointments for account managers.
- Generate reports on campaign performance for vendors and marketing teams.
- Support senior account managers during client meetings.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven sales skills and experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Target-driven and results-oriented.
- Proficient in CRM systems.
- Understanding of IT security principles and solutions (beneficial).
- 6-12 months of experience in a cold-calling role.
