About the Role:
We’re seeking a passionate Wellbeing and Activities Assistant to join our Magic Moments Team in Tyne and Wear. Your role is key in supporting residents to lead fulfilling lives, ensuring their interests and needs are met, whilst respecting their varying levels of physical and mental ability through personalised activity programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess resident needs through meetings with residents, team members, and family members.
- Provide stimulating and tailored exercise and activities, including music, exercise, and arts & crafts.
- Build relationships with residents and families to gather life story information, develop, and update care plans and activities.
- Create personalised activities reflecting residents’ interests and hobbies.
- Establish community links with local groups and arrange trips and excursions.
- Support the roll-out of Magic Moments initiatives and encourage participation.
- Track activity engagement using digital and written methods.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to deliver group and one-on-one activities confidently.
