About the Role:
The Administrative Assistant will provide vital administrative support to the Safeguarding Adults Team, ensuring efficient service to both internal and external customers. This is a mostly remote position, requiring occasional office visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support, including handling correspondence, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.
- Assist in report and presentation preparation.
- Maintain and update databases and filing systems.
- Handle telephone and email inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Support team project coordination and management.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication.
- Assist with event and training organization.
- Perform other administrative duties as needed to support team objectives.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (or comparable software).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
