About the Role:
As a Senior Support Worker in Derbyshire, you will provide daily support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and/or physical disabilities in a residential care setting. Your experience will be instrumental in ensuring their health, welfare, education, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support with care plans and activities.
- Ensure the health and wellbeing of individuals under your care.
- Document and report on daily occurrences and observations.
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and aspirations.
- Assist with personal care, and daily living activities.
- Contribute to the review and development of individual care plans.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in a support worker role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures.
- Strong understanding of individual needs and support.
- Commitment to promoting the wellbeing of individuals in care.
