About the Role:

A successful construction business in Kidderminster is seeking a dedicated Project Assistant to support management and directors in project delivery from initiation to completion, along with general business administration. This full-time role offers a diverse and dynamic work environment, working Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete administrative tasks to ensure project milestones are met on time.
  • Record project details across electronic and manual systems.
  • Prepare and submit job reports upon client request.
  • Schedule subcontractor work and manage relevant system entries.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety paperwork is properly issued.
  • Support management in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Manage and communicate customer expectations to the team and subcontractors.
  • Arrange site visits and liaise with clients, addressing their queries.
  • Maintain project calendar and ensure reminders for client meetings and site visits are set.
  • Conduct checks on stock deliveries.
  • Flag quote requests to relevant personnel and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain an up-to-date enquiry register and project tracker.
  • Monitor project communication and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Strong administration experience.
  • Construction or building industry experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant IT systems, including email.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Strong proactive and reactive work style.
  • Excellent telephone communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
