About the Role:
Recruit4staff is seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join a leading Engineering company. The role involves fabrication and welding tasks in a workshop and on-site locations across the North West.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate a range of products from start to finish.
- Perform pipe fabrication and welding (TIG and MIG) on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
- Work from engineering drawings to execute pipefitting tasks for mechanical and electrical projects.
- Work with stainless steel and carbon steel pipework.
- Ensure accurate assembly and installation of pipes, valves, fittings, and related equipment.
- Conduct quality checks.
- Measure, cut, thread, and weld pipes and tubing to specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of work.
Skills and Expertise:
- Pipefitting experience (essential)
- Pipe fabrication experience (essential)
- TIG welding experience (essential)
- Ability to interpret complex drawings (essential)
- Knowledge of various pipe materials, fittings, and joining methods
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Driving License and access to a car (essential)
- City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent in Welding and Fabrication (beneficial)
- Hygiene Pipe Welding Experience (beneficial)
- Coded or previously coded (beneficial)
- CCNSG Safety Passport (beneficial)
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Up to 18.00 per hour (PAYE) (depending on experience)
- 22 per hour (CIS/LTD)
- Core hours: Mon-Fri 8am – 4:30pm
- Overtime paid at enhanced rates
- Ongoing temporary contract
