About the Role:
This exciting opportunity seeks a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join an established Sheet Metal Fabrication company in Derby. The role involves TIG and MIG welding and fabrication of sheet metal components, and the successful candidate will be key to the team’s manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- TIG and MIG Welding
- Assemble and fabricate sheet metal components
- Use press brakes, guillotines, and rollers
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Day Shifts: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Skills and Expertise:
- Experienced TIG and MIG Welder
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- Quality checking of own parts
- Familiarity with press brakes, guillotines, rollers, and other fabrication equipment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Team player
- Commute to DE23 area
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- 15-16 per hour
- Overtime available
