About the Role:
Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Redmond House in Corby. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support and care to residents with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
- Develop and implement individual support plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each resident.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident care.
- Collaborate with external health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Skills and Expertise:
- Relevant experience and qualifications in support work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Understanding of disability support and care principles.
