About the Role:
Voyage Care is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in Bradwell, Norfolk. This role will play a key leadership part in supporting individuals to achieve greater independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals in achieving their goals.
- Assist the manager with daily supervision and management of the service.
- Allocate shifts and book training for colleagues.
- Induct new staff members.
- Support supervisions.
- Order medication and ensure financial management.
- Maintain a supportive environment and promote independence.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Senior Support Worker.
- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
- Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, or complex needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to varied situations.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies (e.g., safeguarding).
