About the Role:
We are seeking part-time (33 hours per week) Night Support Workers in Thetford, Norfolk to provide exceptional care and support to individuals. This role focuses on ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of those we support during their night-time needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care, including assistance with toileting and getting to bed.
- Carrying out regular checks on individuals’ well-being.
- Managing light household tasks, such as tidying and cleaning, while individuals are sleeping.
- Ensuring the safety of the home environment.
- Preparing individuals for the day ahead.
- Maintaining a clean and organized living space.
- Meeting overnight health needs.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience in providing support to individuals with learning disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Patience and understanding.
- Commitment to creating a supportive and positive environment.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
