About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized Engineering Coordinator to join our dynamic team in East Renfrewshire. This role is crucial in ensuring Building Services Engineers deliver exceptional client service through efficient scheduling and task management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for service requests, logging and prioritizing calls.
- Plan and allocate workloads for Building Services Engineers based on job requirements, location, and urgency.
- Monitor job progress, ensuring efficient and timely completion of work.
- Maintain up-to-date records of completed and ongoing tasks in our service management system.
- Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and clients to provide updates, manage expectations, and resolve queries.
- Prepare reports and analyze data to optimize workflow and improve service delivery.
- Support the team with administrative tasks, including managing schedules, ordering supplies, and handling invoices.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in a helpdesk, scheduling, or administrative role (preferably within building services).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service management software (training provided).
- Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
