About the Role:
Looking for a Senior Care Assistant to provide exceptional care to residents at Nightingale Nursing & Care Home in Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire. This role focuses on leading a shift team and maintaining high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality care and support to residents in all aspects of daily living.
- Promoting resident independence, dignity, and respect.
- Leading shift teams to maintain high standards and support team members.
- Completing medication rounds and documenting accurately.
- Promoting best practices and challenging poor practices.
- Conducting regular one-to-ones and investigating complaints.
Skills and Expertise:
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ level 3 minimum).
- Minimum two years experience as a Care Assistant.
- Understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning.
- Knowledge of abuse prevention and reporting procedures.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and lead a team.
