About the Role:

Looking for a Senior Care Assistant to provide exceptional care to residents at Nightingale Nursing & Care Home in Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire. This role focuses on leading a shift team and maintaining high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to residents in all aspects of daily living.
  • Promoting resident independence, dignity, and respect.
  • Leading shift teams to maintain high standards and support team members.
  • Completing medication rounds and documenting accurately.
  • Promoting best practices and challenging poor practices.
  • Conducting regular one-to-ones and investigating complaints.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ level 3 minimum).
  • Minimum two years experience as a Care Assistant.
  • Understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning.
  • Knowledge of abuse prevention and reporting procedures.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead a team.
